About Alexander Tisko
Welcome to my website! I am Alex. I'm based in Argentina, the land of tango, folklore, wine, asado, and football (please, don't call it soccer).
The main question is what value could Alex provide to a company? The first step of the journey is to help them discover how powerful a very well-structured and organized data infrastructure could be. AI (artificial intelligence) is advancing so fast that having accurate data will become crucial for businesses. Note: you will notice that I speak a lot of AI (inevitable).
The second part of the journey is to help them create valuable insights that will play a crucial role in business decisions. Today, some of these insights are made by AI. You just need to feed it with accurate data, and it will do most of the job for you, and in a matter of seconds.

Having the experience of working at very recognized tech companies helped me to develop a crucial and very valuable view of the data.

Outside my professional career, I enjoy cycling, watching football, drinking beer, trying new food, meeting with friends, talking about politics, finance, science, and technology.
If I need to choose something I can do all day straight, that's riding my bicycle. I have 4 bikes. The freedom and feeling they give to me is unique. Actually, one of my dreams is to become a cycle tourist.

Project 1: Building Data Pipeline for Retail Company
I am helping this company to create a data warehouse from scratch within GCP - BigQuery. The plan is to utilize API endpoints to store the data in GCS and then streamline the data into BigQuery.
We will automate the data ingestion utilizing Kubernetes, Airflow. The data will be loaded into a raw dataset.
We will be utilizing transformation tools like Dataform to transform the raw data as desired. Data marts will be created for reporting purposes.
We will include the data marts into Looker and then create fascinating dashboards.
Project 2: Building Structure Tables for AI adoption
I am helping another retail company to create data objects that will be used to feed LLM and AI tools.
This data objects need to be as accurate as possible, so there is a huge work for understanding business concepts, KPIs, logic, etc.
Everything is being documented, and I am also offering data governance + creation of data assertions for accuracy.
